Social Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Compliance Manager to join our team at TJX Europe. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our European Social Compliance Strategy.
About the RoleThe Social Compliance Manager will partner closely with Buying, Corporate Responsibility, and Global Social Compliance teams to ensure the development, driving, and execution of our European Social Compliance Strategy. You will lead the European Product Assurance team in enabling the Buying teams to place TJX exclusive production and Charity merchandise with confidence and assurance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead collaborations with key stakeholders, both internal and external, on all Social Compliance activities.
- Develop and deliver strategy to deal with the unique challenges presented by existing and upcoming European Due Diligence legislation around collecting, analysing, and reporting on factory audits, in line with the global business reporting requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Broad industry experience and knowledge of audit training and improvement programs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to drive improvements in partnership with key stakeholders and influence internally and externally.
- A logical thinker, able to debate, listen, and think strategically, with the ability to prioritise activities.
- Strong networking skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships globally across all levels and with the Buying community.
- Understanding of the Buying process, the impact of social compliance within a retail business, and the ability to trade.
- The ability to think paradoxically and be comfortable holding opposing points of view.
- Takes responsibility, has a positive attitude, is proactive, and shows initiative.
