We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer CMM to join our team at ACS Performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing Measurement Systems and Analysis, ensuring the highest level of quality in our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspection Plan Management: Develop and maintain detailed records of Inspection Plans, ISIRS, and FAIRS to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Measurement Policy Development: Create and implement Measurement Policies to reduce scrap in the machine shop and improve overall quality.
- Design Review Participation: Collaborate with product designers to promote repeatability and reliability in production.
- Capability Studies and Gage R&R: Conduct capability studies and gage R&R as directed to ensure accurate measurement and quality control.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits as required to AS9100 standard to ensure compliance with quality regulations.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as reasonably requested by management.
- Metrology Expertise: Working knowledge of Metrology with a background in Quality Engineering.
- Engineering Drawing Skills: Ability to understand and read engineering drawings.
- Quality Systems Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Quality Systems and their application.
- Quality Record Maintenance: Ability to maintain detailed Quality records.
- Metrology Tools: Applied working knowledge and use of basic Metrology tools, Imperial and Metric.
