At Simpson Booth Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Asset / Reliability Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our global user base.
Key Responsibilities:- IT Support: Collaborate with our global team to deliver exceptional IT support across our user base.
- Hardware and Software Deployment: Build and deploy user workstations, installing applications and utilities to ensure seamless functionality.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and connected devices.
- User Account Management: Create and manage 365 user accounts, allocating appropriate licensing and configuring mailboxes.
- Onsite and Remote Support: Provide local, onsite support and remote support to our global user base.
- Mobile Telephony Support: Support the mobile telephony estate, ordering and configuring devices, enrolling devices in MDM, and providing end-user guidance.
- Connectivity Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot connectivity issues – LAN, WAN, WIFI, etc.
- Service Desk Management: Manage service desk tickets efficiently and effectively, adhering to SLAs.
- QHSE Compliance: Familiarity with and adherence to all CRCE/Site QHSE project-related procedures.
- Health and Safety: Carry out duties safely and efficiently in line with the Company QHSE policies and report any unsafe conditions or incidents in the workplace.
- Qualifications: Associates Degree/HND in a related discipline.
- Skills: Problem-solving using logical and systematic approaches, customer service, and analytical thinking.
- Technical Experience: Experience of supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office suite, basic PC/notebook hardware support, antivirus technology, and procedures.
