Job Title: Asset / Reliability Technician

At Simpson Booth Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Asset / Reliability Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our global user base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our global team to deliver exceptional IT support across our user base.
  • Design and implement user workstations, installing applications and utilities to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex issues related to hardware, software, and connected devices.
  • Manage 365 user accounts, allocating appropriate licensing and configuring mailboxes to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Provide local and remote support to our global user base, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Support our mobile telephony estate, ordering and configuring devices, enrolling devices in MDM, and providing end-user guidance.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues – LAN, WAN, WIFI, etc. – to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Manage service desk tickets efficiently and effectively, adhering to SLAs to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with and adherence to all CRCE/Site QHSE project-related procedures.
  • Carry out duties safely and efficiently in line with the Company QHSE policies and report any unsafe conditions or incidents in the workplace.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree/HND in a related discipline.
  • Problem-solving skills using logical and systematic approaches.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience of supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office suite, basic PC/notebook hardware support, antivirus technology, and procedures.
