Purchasing roles require strategic planning and negotiation skills to secure high-quality materials, components, and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering procurement processes and be able to build effective relationships with suppliers.

This role involves developing purchasing strategies, evaluating supplier performance, and optimizing inventory levels to balance production demands and cost-efficiency. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential in this position.

The successful candidate will have experience managing supplier contracts, negotiating agreements, and maintaining accurate records of purchases and inventory. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is also beneficial.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Procurement Planning: Develop and execute purchasing strategies to secure quality materials and services at competitive prices.
  2. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  3. Inventory and Cost Control: Optimize inventory levels, collaborate with production and engineering teams to forecast material needs accurately, and identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.
