Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Dorset
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum
Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality products in the Dorset area. We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team and lead our quality management system.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality management systems in accordance with ISO9001 standards
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency
- Train and mentor quality department staff to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Streamline quality processes and procedures to improve productivity
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in quality assurance and management
- Engineering background with HNC qualification or equivalent work-based experience
- Strategic and methodical mindset with excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of ISO9001 standard and lean manufacturing principles
- Experience in a Six Sigma environment and problem-solving skills with RCA tools
