Academic Quality Manager

Location: Dorset
Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum
About the Role:The successful candidate will have great knowledge of the ISO9001 standard and be experienced in developing and maintaining the Quality Management System.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and managing the QMS in relation to ISO9001
- Leading Continuous Improvement
- Training and mentoring staff within the quality department
- Streamlining quality processes and procedures
- Liaising with a variety of departments and external stakeholders
- Attending staff meetings
- Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
- Conducting internal audits
The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, preferably HNC qualified or equivalent work-based experience, and excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
They will also have good knowledge of ISO9001 standard, experience in a lean manufacturing environment or Six Sigma, and good problem-solving skills with use of RCA tools.
Additionally, they will be innovative, creative, and have good leadership qualities.
