About the Role

Oxford University Press is seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our Licensing team as a Digital Licensing Operations Coordinator. This role provides administrative support to the team responsible for selling digital and audio reprint rights worldwide.

As a key member of the Operations team, you will work closely with licensing partners, supporting relationships with existing customers and discovering new business opportunities. You will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming rights checking requests, developing a deep understanding of digital licensing, and processing contracts to completion.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Providing administrative assistance and operational support to the team
  • Providing administrative support to the Director of Corporate Sales and Licensing
  • Efficiently and effectively managing the incoming rights checking requests
  • Developing a deep understanding of digital licensing to analyze information from various sources
  • Efficiently and effectively managing the processing of contracts to completion
  • Developing detailed knowledge of publishing lists, key titles, and partnerships to assist the team in their licensing endeavors
  • Liaising with authors, societies, and publishers on pre- and post-deal matters such as production schedules, statements, and samples

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

  • Computer literacy - familiarity with MS Office with a particular focus on Excel
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as autonomously
  • Interest in publishing is highly desirable
