About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Medacs Healthcare. As a Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for families, children, and adolescents with mental health issues and learning disabilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Participate in medical audits and evaluations to improve service delivery and patient care.
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice at the time of appointment.
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within 6 months.
  • Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Holds and will use valid UK driving license OR provides evidence of proposed alternative.
