Woking, Surrey, United Kingdom IDBS Full time

As a dynamic and innovative company, IDBS provides purpose-built software solutions to address the data management challenges in the BioPharma lifecycle and supply chain.

Leveraging over 30 years of experience in life science informatics, we uniquely position ourselves to deliver a portfolio of innovative BioPharma knowledge management technologies to streamline the capture, analysis, reporting, and sharing of data required to accelerate the next generation of life-changing therapies.

Our cloud-native and analytics-centric platforms enable customers in research, development, and manufacturing to efficiently and compliantly access critical data and insights to make faster, smarter decisions with greater confidence.

We are seeking a Test Engineer who will contribute to testing activities through the lifecycle of a ticket from refinement to testing signoff, following a risk-based approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working in an Agile software team to create and review test plans and scripts for user stories, business requirements, or system requirements.
  • Contributing to team activities, including hands-on execution of testing, both manual and automated (using tools such as Robot Framework, Cypress, Playwright, and JMeter), ensuring repeatable and verifiable test records.
  • Developing skills proactively, identifying areas for improvement that align with company strategy and career aspirations, and undertaking required training activities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, able to independently analyze a system, requirement, or problem, and produce high-quality, effective testing approaches and sets of test scripts.

A background in science is beneficial due to the nature of our software. We value diversity and the existence of similarities and differences found in our workforce, workplace, and throughout the markets we serve.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, based on industry standards, location, and experience.
