Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an EOC Clinical Commander. This role will provide tactical command and coordination of the EOC Clinical Hub, ensuring the delivery of high-quality emergency care to patients in the East Midlands region.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing daily tactical command and coordination of the EOC Clinical Hub
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality emergency care to patients
  • Working closely with the EOC Duty Commander and other stakeholders to ensure effective incident response
  • Leading and managing a team of clinicians and support staff
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • HCPC registration as a Paramedic and/or Registered Nurse
  • 3 years post-registration clinical experience and experience as a Band 6
  • NARU Operational and/or Tactical Commander training (or willingness to work towards)
  • 2 years' experience of effectively managing and leading teams in relation to managing performance
  • Experience as a lead clinician in emergency care, leading other clinicians and supporting staff
