About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the Wimborne area, providing dedicated support to a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a flexible, term-time position, with the opportunity to work Monday to Friday.

Your main responsibility as a Teaching Assistant will be to provide one-to-one support to the student, ensuring their individual needs are met in the classroom. You will help the student engage with the curriculum and participate in class activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience supporting students with SEN.
  • A patient, understanding, and flexible approach to working with children.
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, with flexible hours based on your availability.

Salary: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience.
