About the Role

This Healthcare Administrative Assistant position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical office environment. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support, ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Duties
  1. Collect demographic data, verify insurance coverage, and process payments accurately.
  2. Interact with Access/Intake staff to facilitate the pre-admission process.
  3. Determine and collect deductibles and co-pay, as needed.
  4. Respond to incoming telephone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from outside agencies, insurance companies, staff, and consumers.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent with a business background.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably with third-party reimbursement.
  • Excellent typing skills, spelling, and grammar.
  • Great communication and customer service skills.
