Job Overview

We are recruiting for a Credit Risk Model Validation Specialist to join our consultancy, founded by two seasoned professionals, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions to Tier 1 banks and other financial institutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Credit Risk Modelling, Model Validation, or Model Oversight, ideally with expertise in IFRS9 or IRB frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Validate and review IFRS9 credit risk models, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  2. Provide detailed technical analysis and documentation of model development or validation findings.
  3. Collaborate with clients to address findings and recommend actionable improvements.
  4. Contribute to the company's growth by shaping best practices and delivering excellence in all client engagements.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Credit Risk Modelling, Model Validation, or Model Oversight, ideally with expertise in IFRS9 or IRB frameworks.
  • Prior experience at a reputable organisation is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in quantitative methodologies, statistical analysis, and relevant tools (e.g., Python, R, SAS, SQL).
  • Preference for candidates who are immediately available or on a one-month notice. However, we are open to those with longer notice periods if they bring exceptional expertise.
