About the Job

KPMG-UnitedKingdom is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Modelling Assistant Manager to join our Credit Risk Assurance team. As a member of our team, you will support the external audit of credit risk models for financial institutions, ensuring that they comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to industry standards.

The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is a technical specialist role where you will execute and document the quantitative testing conducted by the team. Your responsibilities will include executing workstreams of quantitative testing, conducting assessments of audited entity model documentation against industry practice, annotating code produced by an audited entity, and reconciling code functionality back to documentation.

Support the execution and documentation of quantitative testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Conduct assessments of audited entity model documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.Annotate code produced by an audited entity to ensure clarity and transparency.Reperform the output of an audited entity's code using independently developed code to validate results.Determine independent estimates of a model's output using KPMG assumptions.Complete associated documentation for quantitative testing in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working with credit risk models and quantitative testing. You will also need to have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
