Responsibilities:

  • Support student welfare: Provide emotional support and guidance to students who are experiencing difficulties, working closely with colleagues to provide a comprehensive support network.
  • Maintain a safe environment: Ensure that all areas of the school are safe and secure, identifying potential hazards and taking steps to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with colleagues: Work effectively with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Document incidents: Keep accurate records of student incidents, near misses, and accidents, reporting any concerns to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a residential support or crisis management role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education, counseling, or a related field would be an asset.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £550 per week.
  • Accommodation and meals: Provided where applicable.
  • 48 hours per week: Some unsociable hours may be required due to evening activities, night duties (if residential), and varying times of student arrivals/departures.
