About the Role

Law Business Research is seeking a highly skilled Strategy Associate to join our team. As a key contributor to our strategic planning process, you will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to understand complex business issues, develop problem-solving strategies, and implement solutions that drive the company's growth, competitive position, and transformational change.

This role is highly varied, working on a wide range of strategic initiatives covering commercial, operations, business structure & strategy, and corporate development and M&A. You will be responsible for identifying and understanding complex business issues and challenges, conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop problem-solving strategies and innovative solutions to address issues.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Develop presentations and reports to communicate strategic plans and progress to stakeholders.
  • Support in the development of Business Cases, including top-level financial analysis and modelling.
  • Support the Director of Strategy in facilitating strategic planning sessions.
  • Lead transformational change projects, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Develop project plans, allocate resources, and manage timelines.

Requirements

  • Flexible and able to work on a wide variety of strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers.
  • Able to navigate through complexity and ambiguity.
  • Skilled in assessing disparate information, distilling key insights and conveying them succinctly.
  • Able to work alone and build effective working relationships internally and externally.
