We are looking for a skilled Graduate Molecular Biologist to join our RNA team and support the development of our synthetic RNA technologies.

The Opportunity

This role offers a chance to work with a talented team on cutting-edge projects, utilizing your expertise in molecular biology and experience in laboratory settings.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting experiments related to synthetic DNA, mRNA synthesis, and gene expression, as well as supporting internal R&D projects and external collaborations.

  • Conducting a wide range of molecular biology-based experiments.
  • Supporting synthetic DNA and RNA projects.
  • Planning, refining, and executing experiments.
  • Maintaining accurate records of experiments and data/results.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc/MSc in a biological discipline + industry experience in molecular or cellular biology.
  • Expertise in several techniques, including capillary electrophoresis, polyacrylamide electrophoresis, RNA quantification, DNA quantification, flow cytometry, ELISA.
  • Experience in cell reporter assays, cell transfection, and troubleshooting laboratory protocols.
  • Existing right to work in the UK.

Salary:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
