Senior Children's Social Worker

Charles Hunter Associates are currently recruiting for a qualified children's senior social worker to join an assessment team on a locum basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced social worker to work closely with other professionals, such as health visitors, teachers, and police officers, to gather information and make informed decisions about the welfare and safety of children.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments for children and families referred to children's social work via MASH
- Work closely with other professionals to gather information and make informed decisions
- Conduct home visits, write reports, and attend court hearings when necessary
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, proactive professional with a strong working knowledge of children's legislation and specific experience in assessment, children in need, and child protection.
A degree in social work (degree/dipsw/cqsw) is essential, along with a minimum of two years' experience working in a children's services setting.
