Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered SCPHN Nurse to join our team at Compass, as part of the Connect for Health service. This exciting opportunity will allow you to make a positive difference to the lives of children, young people, and their families across Warwickshire.

As a School Nurse (SCPHN), you will provide professional leadership and direction to a skill mix team, enabling the efficient and effective delivery of our programme alongside our other services. You will work creatively to meet each individual's needs, making every interaction meaningful, and exemplify our core values: integrity, valuing each individual, being solution-focused, and maintaining consistency and reliability.

Main Duties

We are looking for a NMC registered nurse who holds a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) qualification. You will have experience with caseload management, mentoring other staff members, and/or supporting individuals through a preceptorship. You will facilitate and deliver a range of assessments, brief interventions, and proactive public health initiatives for your case load, to support each child in achieving positive health outcomes, while working both independently and as part of a multi-agency team around the families. Safeguarding will be an integral aspect of the role, and your commitment to this should be at the core of everything you do.
