Main Responsibilities

As a Vocational Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with brain injuries to maximise their independence and well-being through facilitating access to vocational, learning, and recreational opportunities.

Key Tasks
  • Develop and deliver bespoke vocational, learning, and recreational programs to meet individuals' identified outcomes and goals.
  • Support service users to participate in vocational, learning, and recreational activities.
  • Contribute to the development of Service User goals and outcomes in relation to vocational, learning, and recreational opportunities.
  • Identify and organise a range of activities to meet the rehabilitation goals and personal interests of service users.
  • Undertake risk assessments for vocational, learning, and recreational activities.
About You

We are looking for an individual with experience of working within a multidisciplinary environment or devising and implementing multiple activity programs. You should have a good understanding of health and safety issues in the design and access of activities.

You will also need to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to use Microsoft Office and navigate the internet.
