Shaw Healthcare is seeking a skilled Bank Chef to join our team at Figbury Lodge. As a Bank Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, fresh meals to our residents and staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for residents and staff in a timely and efficient manner.
- Cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents, including cultural and religious requirements.
- Order supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines.
- Maintain accurate catering records and adhere to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
- Participate in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and Local Authorities.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home setting.
- Excellent cooking skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage the catering team.
