Job Title: SHEQ Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety professional to act as our SHEQ Coordinator for a successful manufacturing business. The role encompasses implementing and maintaining quality, safety, health, and environmental systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organisation.

The successful candidate will be involved in various responsibilities, including promoting a safety-first culture through regular communication and awareness campaigns, identifying opportunities to enhance SHEQ practices and programmes, and delivering training programmes.

Key Requirements:

  • IOSH Working safely certificate (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a SHE role or similar position
  • Solid understanding of SHE regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for training and influencing others
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
