About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Community Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Eden Brown Synergy. The successful candidate will work with individuals who have acquired or progressive neurological conditions in community-based settings and in their homes.

The base location for this role is Shropshire, with regular face-to-face visits across the area. This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, organize, and prioritize client caseloads, developing individualized speech and language therapy intervention plans for various neurological conditions.
  • To collaborate as part of the multidisciplinary CNRT team alongside Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Assistant Practitioners.
  • To undertake all aspects of speech and language therapy treatment, including assessment, planning, and implementation.
  • To be professionally accountable for all aspects of speech and language therapy care and treatment.
  • To develop and maintain essential skills for practicing speech and language therapy in an adult neurology setting.
  • To participate in goal planning and review meetings with clients and other staff members.
  • To conduct speech and language therapy assessments and treatments independently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy.

This locum opportunity offers a competitive salary of £42,000 - £52,500 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
