Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Tutor to provide one-to-one support to children in the Clifton area. As a Primary Tutor, you will work with students between Year 1-6 (KS1/2) and help them develop their knowledge in core subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Deliver Engaging Sessions: Create and teach engaging sessions based on the child's needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects.
- Behaviour Management and Support: Work with children with potentially challenging behavioural needs and use different strategies to ensure their needs are met.
- Progress Tracking and Planning: Track progress and plan next steps in learning.
- Inspiring Children to Achieve: Inspire children to achieve and keep them engaged, ensuring they can access the learning.
Requirements:
- Experience Working with Children: Experience of working with children or young people.
- Engaging Session Planning: Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions based on the needs of the learner.
- Behaviour Management Strategies: Ability to develop effective behaviour management strategies and coping mechanisms.
- Confidence Building: Ability to apply skills to raise children's confidence within their learning and develop their love for learning.
- Progress Tracking: Ability to track progress and plan next steps in children's learning towards their learning outcomes.
What We Offer:
- Dedicated Consultant: A dedicated consultant to discuss current or future roles with you.
- Competitive Pay: £25 an hour or above.
- Flexible Working Hours: Working hours are between Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately.
