Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead our team in delivering complex mechanical projects for Data Centres and Mission Critical sectors.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing small to medium-scale projects and a good understanding of commercial principles.

This role offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £75,000 - £90,000 per annum, plus benefits such as travel opportunities and career development.

About the Role

  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle from start to finish
  • Review design drawings and implement value engineering where possible
  • Attend project progress meetings and ensure timely completion
  • Prepare and monitor contract programmes and progress reports
  • Procure plant and materials in line with specification and cost plan
  • Manage subcontractors and oversee commissioning process

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in project management or related discipline (advantageous)
  • Relevant trade qualifications and supporting project management background
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in mechanical building services, with significant time spent in a project management role
