The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Key responsibilities include project management, site surveys, cost estimates, value engineering, project tenders, and on-site project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management and Delivery: Oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
  • Site Surveys and Assessments: Conduct thorough site surveys to identify project requirements, including measured building surveys and AutoCAD usage.
  • Cost Estimates and Management: Collaborate with cost consultants to produce accurate cost estimates and manage project expenses effectively.
  • Value Engineering: Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising project quality or timelines.
  • Project Tenders and Management: Manage project tenders, negotiate contracts, and oversee core contractors and equipment suppliers.
  • Building Regulations and Planning Applications: Ensure compliance with current building regulations and navigate local authority planning processes.
  • H&S Management: Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with garage fit-out, regulations, and DVSA applications is highly desirable.
  • Experience in fast-paced retail roll-out programs, measured building surveys, and AutoCAD usage is essential.
  • A formal qualification in building surveying, engineering, or construction, along with relevant experience in budget management, is highly beneficial.
  • IOSH qualification and H&S training are preferred.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage large budgets, and demonstrate a track record of innovation and change management.
