About the Role

Fife Council is seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our care at home teams in the North East Fife Locality. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred care and support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Build effective relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with other Council services and partner agencies to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to the Health and Social Care Standards.

Requirements

  • Caring, compassionate, and motivated with good values and a genuine interest in providing quality care and support.
  • Good communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support the effective planning and delivery of care and support.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards and the ability to put these into practice.
  • Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and completion of the required Post Registration Training and Learning (PRTL).
