Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to provide a high-quality, responsive service for children aged 0-19 with Speech, Language and Communication needs.

Main Duties:
  • Assess clients and work directly and indirectly to deliver Speech and Language Therapy and/or Dysphagia treatment programmes.
  • Fulfil a specialism within the team and be at the forefront of latest developments and evidence-based practice and advise other team members.
  • Carry out assessment as appropriate and make differential diagnosis.
Requirements:
  • Speech and Language Therapy graduate (accredited course) with membership of HCPC.
  • Post-graduate Dysphagia qualification – inc. paediatrics.
  • Relevant experience at post-graduate level of working in school and pre-school settings (mainstream and special schools) and local authority Children Centres.
  • Relevant experience of working with children with a range of SLCN.
