About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Postperson with Driving to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a Postperson with Driving, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to our customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and lorries, to transport mail and packages
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £12.54. We also provide a range of benefits, including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Upbeat, independent and self-motivated
  • Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service
  • Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
