Age UK is recruiting to fill a challenging and rewarding role as a Retail Team Leader. With over 250 locations across the UK, our stores raise funds for some of the incredible services and support provided by the charity.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our fantastic Ashby (Scunthorpe) team as a Retail Team Leader. Our amazing team members support our Store Managers in all aspects of the business, helping to guide and support our valued team of Sales Assistants and volunteers while ensuring customers are provided with an exemplary shop experience.

As a Retail Team Leader, you will have the ability to work collaboratively and consultatively with the Shop Manager, lift and carry bags of stock up to 10kg's, lead a team of volunteers and staff, delegate and coach staff, and possess excellent customer services skills.

The ideal candidate will also have the ability to understand and establish successful retail processes, understand basic financial reports, and have experience in a customer-facing role.
