Job Overview

Sodexo Live is seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to lead our team at Headingley Stadium, the home of Leeds Rhinos and Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-volume meetings and events, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the match day hospitality and conference & events on site, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day site-specific conference & events and match day hospitality
  • Delegate and communicate responsibilities effectively to team members, ensuring delivery is consistently of high quality
  • Build strong relationships with fellow Heads of Departments to ensure operations run smoothly
  • Promote the venue to its maximum potential, building relationships with clients, customers, and employees alike
  • Deliver a food and drinks service to an exceptionally high standard
  • Manage a complete guest welcome for all visitors, ensuring a focus on customer journey
  • Deliver on-the-job training to ensure the team has the correct skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Take accountability for stock levels, wastage, and operating costs
  • Control costs through effectively managing costed labour rotas and operating with agreed labour %

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within a large operation with high-volume meetings and events and match day operations
  • Proven people management skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • IT literate and confident with embracing technology
  • Excellent communication skills
