Engineering Workshop Specialist

We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Production Fitter to join our team at Questech Recruitment Ltd. As a Production Fitter, you will be responsible for performing various tasks in our Engineering Workshop Labourer role, including reading and following engineering drawings, metal cutting, drilling, sawing, assembly, packing, painting, cleaning machine areas, operating machines, driving a work van, collecting or delivering parts and materials, helping in the fabrication workshop, and general housekeeping.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out routine maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Operate various machines and tools, including metal cutting, drilling, and sawing equipment
• Ensure all work areas are clean and tidy, adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Drive a work van for parts collection and delivery
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar production fitter role
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Valid full Clean Driver's License
Working Hours and Salary:
You will work on a day shift from Monday to Thursday (7am-4pm) and Friday (7am-1pm), earning £12-£13 per hour (£25,000 per year based on 40 hours of work per week).
