About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Podiatrist to join our team as a Clinical Lead in High-Risk Podiatry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing patients with complex podiatric needs, including those with diabetes and other chronic conditions.

The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, providing high-quality care to patients in various settings, including clinics, hospitals, and community environments. They will also be responsible for leading a team of podiatrists, providing clinical guidance and support, and contributing to the development of podiatric services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of podiatrists, providing clinical guidance and support
  • Manage a caseload of high-risk patients, including those with diabetes and other chronic conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct biomechanical assessments and provide orthotics prescriptions
  • Participate in clinical governance initiatives, including audit and research projects

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • B.Sc. in Podiatric Medicine or equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years' experience in high-risk podiatry
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
