Job Summary

This exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled Podiatrist Specialist to join our team as a Band 6 Clinical Sciences and Patient Experience Specialist.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our podiatry services.

About the Role

You will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing patients with diverse medical and podiatric conditions, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques and skills.

You will create and implement tailored treatment plans using various treatment regimes, focusing on managing primary foot pathologies.

Additional specialist clinics, including biomechanics, wound care, and nail surgery, will be undertaken as part of your clinical rotation programme.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc Degree in Podiatric Medicine or Diploma (if qualified prior 1991)
  • Evidence of continual professional and personal development
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council
  • Certificate in local anaesthesia

In addition, desirable qualifications include postgraduate training in specialist areas of podiatry and experience working in NHS environments.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be £43,041 per annum, based on the UK's National Health Service pay scales.
