The Student Experience Support Officer - Student Data & Enhancement is responsible for the creation of both electronic and paper-based student files. This includes ensuring student details are kept up to date on central databases, including contact details, visa and passport information, and sponsorship details. The post holder will work closely with the Student Experience Coordinator - Student Data & Enhancement to monitor student attendance on a daily basis and keep the student attendance database up to date weekly. Additionally, the successful candidate will ensure relevant reports are run from Study Group systems to monitor student attendance and ensure registers are fully complete to enable attendance to be monitored effectively. Other key responsibilities include dealing with general student enquiries, fostering productive relations with internal and external stakeholders, and producing student letters as requested. The successful candidate will also work closely with other teams to ensure student enrolment is running smoothly and undertake any other duties required by the Head of Student Experience.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, experience of events coordination, and working in a fast-paced pressurized office environment. Experience of working in a Higher Education (HE) or Further Education (FE) environment and evidence of working with international students are desirable. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of working across a variety of complex IT systems, detailed evidence of coordination and organisational skills, and administrative skills, including IT skills and confident use of Microsoft Excel.
