Job Overview and Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Security Officer at Churchill Square Shopping Centre in Brighton. As a key member of our Security Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and interact with visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with the Environmental Services team to deliver a seamless service and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and non-conformances.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
