Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services in Brighton. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a high-end security service at our working location, protecting our clients' employees, property, and assets.
You will be the central point of contact for all incidents and will deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrating our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. You will also enhance security and resilience on-site, responding to emergencies and taking appropriate action.
Key Responsibilities- Proactive Security: Address security-related issues using local knowledge and experience
- Incident Response: Handle threats, incidents, or provide colleague wellbeing support as needed
- Extra Duties: Complete tasks outside of daily responsibilities
- Incident Evidence: Use Body Worn Cameras to gather evidence as directed by the Joint Operations Centre
- Task Completion: Execute tasks assigned by the Joint Operations Centre or Local Barclays Rep
- Security Presence: Maintain a strong, visible, and alert security presence at all times
- SIA Licence
- Right to Work in the UK
- 5-Year Checkable Work History
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication
- Good IT Skills
- Ability to Work Under Own Initiative
- Customer Service Experience
- Good Organisational Skills
- Reliable and Customer Focused with a Commitment to Exemplary Service
- Dependant on Location - Ability to acquire Enhanced DBS checks
