Job Title: 1:1 or Lunchtime Supervisor Role

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a 1:1 or lunchtime supervisor in a KS2 class. The successful candidate will provide support to two children with learning difficulties, working closely with the class teacher to ensure the children receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to two children with learning difficulties
  • Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lunchtime cover and afternoons, with the exception of Fridays when a full-day cover is required
  • Support the children's social and emotional development, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with the class teacher, parents, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team approach

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
