Financial Accountant

Kenton Black Finance is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting function, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the Accounts Department.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist in the production of monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all balances are known and correct.
- End-to-end ledger management, including monthly payroll and reconciliation of off-sales DOCs.
- Verify sales commissions and update daily estimates versus actuals.
- Reconcile eBay, Shopify, and Amazon accounts, and optimize our systems to ensure efficient use.
- Supervise the Purchase ledger and ensure all invoices are processed in a timely manner with no debit balances.
- Run monthly Suppliers BACS and supervise the sales ledger to ensure all debts are collected.
- Hold weekly debtors meetings with managers and communicate effectively with department managers on financial matters.
- Prepare daily cash flow forecasts and cover weekly forecasts in the absence of the Financial Controller.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the motor industry.
- AAT Qualified or QBE, with sound accounting skills and experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
