Job Title: Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Kenton Black Limited. As a key member of our accounting function, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of our accounts department and providing strong financial accounting and reporting throughout the group.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Complete weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all balances are known and correct
  • End-to-end ledger management, including monthly payroll
  • Reconcile off-sales DOC daily
  • Check and verify sales commissions
  • Update daily estimates vs actuals
  • Bonus debt reconciliation and chasing up any outstanding bonus and putting query form in if required
  • Post and allocate bonus debts
  • Process EMAC statements
  • Reconcile eBay, Shopify, and Amazon accounts
  • Optimise systems to ensure efficient use
  • Supervise the purchase ledger and ensure all invoices are processed in a timely manner and there are no debit balances
  • Monthly suppliers BACS run
  • Supervise the sales ledger and ensure all debts are collected
  • Hold weekly debtors meetings with managers
  • Communicate effectively with department managers and assist with any financial matters required
  • Daily cash flow forecast
  • Cover weekly forecast in the absence of the Financial Controller
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience within the motor industry
  • AAT qualified or QBE
  • Sound accounting skills and experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of a business
