Job Title: Apprentice Joiner Plumber SpecialistAbout the Role:

We require an experienced and skilled Apprentice Joiner Plumber Specialist to work in Sedgefield and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will work on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week.

The expected salary for this position is £34,067.75 plus on-target earnings, company van & fuel card, and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Fitting roofing trusses for traditional, hips, and valleys, as well as repairing/renewing/fitting soffit fascia and barge boards.
  2. Renewing ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and G or sheet flooring.
  3. Repairing/renewing doors and door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards, and ducting panelling.
  4. Renewing kitchen units, worktops, and decorative finishes.
  5. Replacing/repairing/fitting ironmongery to doors and windows.
  6. Renewing timber and UPVC window frames.
  7. Re-glazing timber fencing and gates.
  8. Carrying out multi-trade tasks, such as patching, plastering, wall and floor tiling, and minor plumbing activities.
Requirements:
  • Must have time-served experience or completed a recognized Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3).
  • Experience in working as a Multi-Trade Joiner/Plumber and installation of wet rooms & Disabled adaptations.
  • Ability to carry out multi-skill trades, core joinery or plumbing, and experience working within a social housing environment.
  • Driving license is essential.
  • Skilled workers must hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness, and have own tools.
