Job Description:About the Position:

As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be responsible for performing various tasks across multiple trade disciplines, including carpentry, plumbing, and decorating. This role requires strong technical skills, good problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Roofing and cladding works, including repairing/replacing/fitting roofing trusses, soffit fascia, and barge boards.
  • Structural works, including repairing/replacing ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, and partition walls.
  • Joinery and fitting works, including repairing/replacing doors and door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards, and ducting panelling.
  • Kitchen and bathroom installations, including repairing/replacing kitchen units, worktops, and decorative finishes.
  • Window and door repairs, including repairing/ replacing/fitting ironmongery and reglazing timber fencing and gates.
  • Carrying out multi-trade tasks, including patching, plastering, wall and floor tiling, and minor plumbing activities.
Essential Requirements:
  • Hold a recognized apprenticeship and NVQ L2/L3 qualification in a relevant trade discipline.
  • Have at least two years' experience working as a Multi-Trade Joiner/Plumber in a similar role.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to new situations quickly.
  • Hold a valid driving license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Have a CSCS card, asbestos awareness, and own tools.
