About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Grooming Assistant to join our team at Pets at Home Group Plc. As a key member of our grooming salon, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional pet care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and clipping of dogs for grooming, including handling techniques and equipment usage.
  • Provide a high standard of pet care and customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
  • Work collaboratively with the grooming team to achieve excellent results and meet customer expectations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience working with dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and handle dogs safely and efficiently.
