About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Grooming Assistant to join our team at Pets at Home Group Plc. As a key member of our Pets Grooming salons, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional pet care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality pet grooming services, including handling techniques, equipment usage, and pre-grooming preparation.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment that reflects our company values.

What We Offer

  • A competitive base pay, with opportunities to earn additional pay supplements through training and development.
  • A minimum contract of 24 hours, with flexibility to work a variety of shifts across 6 days a week.
  • A comprehensive training program, including a minimum of 1,000 hours of learning to become a certified Stylist.
  • A range of benefits, including annual bonus, paid annual leave, life assurance, and company pension contribution.

Who We're Looking For

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional pet care and customer service.
  • Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience working with dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
