**Company Overview:** Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team in Sunderland. As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing service users and carers with complex needs in relation to home environment.

**Salary:** £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience. A competitive rate of pay is offered, along with free onsite parking and opportunities for additional training.

**Job Description:**

The successful candidate will provide expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications, as well as adaptations and moving and handling assessments. They will also work to reduce or minimise the need for care packages.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:*

  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community
  • Manual handling experience
  • HCP Registration
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (able to obtain)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST QUALIFICATION
