Job Description: Aviation Manufacturing Specialist

We are looking for an experienced specialist to join our team as an Aviation Manufacturing Specialist. This role involves carrying out manufacturing and self-certification tasks within our deployed business.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  1. Performing detailed standard assembly/manufacturing activities, adhering to product certification procedures, workmanship standards, and allocated timescales.
  2. Contribution to efficient workflow and information exchange in the manufacturing area.


Requirements:
  1. Mastery of soldering/microelectronics under a microscope.
  2. Background in manufacturing control/stores.
  3. Fine motor skills.
  4. Ability to adapt to flexible shift patterns.
  5. Self-motivation with minimal supervision.


Working Hours:
  1. Standard Days - Monday-Thursday, 7am-3:36pm, Friday, 7am-11:36am.
  2. 12 Hour Days - Either Sunday-Tuesday or Wednesday-Friday, 7am-7pm.
  3. Nights - Monday-Thursday, 10 hours per night.


Contract Details:
  • 12-month contract.
  • 36 hours per week.
  • IR35 Status: Inside.
  • Security Clearance: BPSS.


Remuneration: £91 per hour via Umbrella (as a contractor) which translates to an estimated annual salary of £59,272. The location is Bolton.
