Trustee - Children's and Palliative Care Expert

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is seeking a dedicated and experienced Trustee to join our Board. As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in the governance and strategic direction of the hospice, ensuring that we continue to provide exceptional care and support to families across the East Midlands.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of the hospice's strategy and policies
- Provide oversight and guidance on the hospice's finances and resources
- Support the Chief Executive and senior leadership team in their decision-making and operational management
- Represent the hospice at external events and meetings, promoting our values and mission
We are looking for a Trustee with a strong background in children's and palliative care, who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to families. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. As a Trustee, you will be expected to commit to at least four Board meetings per year, as well as attending sub-committee meetings and other events as required.
