Project Support Team Leader

A leading consultancy in the healthcare construction sector is seeking an experienced Project Support Team Leader to join their expanding team in Hertfordshire.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a consultancy experiencing steady growth, particularly within the healthcare construction sector. The successful candidate will oversee a team of project coordinators and administrative staff, providing essential support that ensures the smooth and efficient running of their project programmes.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and inspire a team of project coordinators and support staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and individual development.
- Manage and allocate resources across multiple projects, balancing workloads to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee the creation of project documentation, such as meeting minutes, action lists, and procurement records, maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and implement procedures to standardize support services, driving efficiency and maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Set performance benchmarks, conduct regular audits, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary contact for project support issues, ensuring proactive communication with project managers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with a track record of inspiring and developing teams.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, adept at prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- A keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality outputs and meticulous record-keeping.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach, adaptable to evolving project requirements and able to handle challenges with ease.
- 3+ years of experience in a people management role, leading and developing teams (essential).
- 5+ years of administrative support experience, ideally in a project management environment.
- Experience in a service-driven environment, with a focus on client or consumer-facing service delivery.
- Construction industry experience is highly desirable.
- Competitive salary: £40,000 - £50,000
- Holidays: 25 days (increasing to 28 days with service)
