About the Role

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate and caring Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our patient care journey, you will take pride in delivering high-quality care to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Support patients with personal care needs, including mobilising, toileting, bathing, dressing, eating, and drinking.
  • Assist with delegated clinical care duties, such as recording patient observations and changes to patient conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with our nursing teams to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • National Care Certificate or willingness to undertake and complete within 12 weeks.
  • Level 2 Apprenticeship in healthcare or equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • Functional Skills Level 1 Maths and English or equivalent education.
